This is from 2005, when Rick Williamson started the big scale 125 racing at his track The Cave Speedway in Bentonville, VA. These 2 videos are the first ones ever, racing friends were over to try out the new track and break it in. No side walls up yet and a fresh just built track finally open.
Late on in late years of operation, the track and cars were more advanced. Racing on the track with squeeze lanes and 1/25 scale super late models was fantastic to the end of operation of the track.
This video is when we raced in my basement in the 1990s on the routed track I built. We raced AFX HO pancake chassis, with custom made super late model bodies, hand built by Rick Williamson. Copper rails, so no magnetic down force could be obtained.
from 1990s when we would go to Marks Models and Toys at Old Mall downtown Winchester VA, Mark Tutton had a road course and we raced G-plus HO scale on that track.

My latest private slot car track, 1/43 scale for grand kids to enjoy. Named it Parrilldega III. Since the 3rd slot car track at my home since 1993. and today is 2023.
